Thank you
so much for your warm thoughts and prayers regarding my dad. He's doing great, is at home, and sounds like his old self. The MRI didn't show any damage or weirdness in the brain, so it looks like he dodged a bullet.
These are pictures from a couple of weekends ago when I hung out with some friends and had waffles and sat around. I am not sure what we did for a few hours but it was really nice, connecting, relaxing. It was such a beautiful, sunny day, such warm, golden sun. In the picture are (not their real names) my friends Billy Bob and Mary Lou, their son Hamlet and baby BooBoo (the adorable elf+yoda+a monkey), and their dog Snuggly.
You'll notice that the parents are busy, that I lovelovelove Snuggly, that Hamlet is a hilarious high-maintenance drama queen, and that Boo Boo is just outrageously cute. (Apologies for the volume of image in this post!)
Look at wee BooBoo's gaze at big brother Hamlet. That is adoration!
That's just being a brat LOL
Look at this guy. We got us a future Leonard Bernstein over here:
Come on human boy, drop your damn waffle already! You're a picky, messy eater - you won't know or care. Drop food!
For such a big dog, an imposing-looking dog, Snuggly here is
such a baby. A sweetheart, a scaredy cat and a snuggler. That's about it. I was intimidated by her when I first met her, until I realized that she's no threat, and is instead saying "Love me!"
Mary Lou has an OCD moment of probably uncessary vacuuming:
Sweet baby BooBoo. Such a little monkey! And those ears:

These are great, troy. I esp like the dog watching the food.
I MUST have a baby with haunting eyes. Look, she has her dad's eyes exactly. I will find a man like this.
Adorable pictures.
